Wigmores of Monmouth

Using the same traditional fermentation cycle for the past 100 years, Wigmores endeavours to keep the art of baking and the unique bread it produces very much alive.

One of the last traditional bakers left in Wales, the shop carries all the usual favourites such as Bara Brith and Welsh cakes, with the addition of new contemporary products such as sour dough and rye breads.

Bespoke wedding and celebration cakes are also available. In the onsite café “The Malsters” you can enjoy a wide selection of light lunches and luxury handmade cakes. Using high quality British flour with locally sourced and traceable produce, Wigmores and Malsters allow you sample a true taste of the area.
